My name is Yonathan James, and I’m a proud Life Member of GA2A. I’m American by birth, and Southern by the grace of God. I’m not exactly what may come to mind when many people, especially those far-left-of-center think of a “typical gun owner” / 2A advocate. In other words, I’m much more than what meets the eye.

I wasn’t raised around firearms, or even the sporting way of life. I stumbled into my passion for firearms and developed a deep reverence for the pro-2A culture as a young adult by way of necessity and never looked back. As I’ve journeyed through my own experience as a gun owner, a couple of things have become increasingly clear to me.
1. There are many more people like me than I once believed.
2. We are losing the culture war as a collective.

I aim to have as much of a positive impact on righting that ship as I possibly can, and I am honored to have an opportunity to serve my fellow Georgians as a GA2A board member.

One big thing to know about me:
I’m a descendant of holocaust survivors and African slaves. I hear a lot of people use phrases like, “Never again!”, when speaking on these aforementioned atrocities, but when I say “never again / over my dead body” – I actually mean it.

Yonathan is a Life Member of GA2A.
