GA2A Opposes Bipartisan Gun Control Legislation in Congress

Today, GA2A, formerly known as GeorgiaCarry.org, publicly opposed The Bipartisan Safer Communities Act.

“The Senate’s gun control bill undermines due process, makes it harder for law-abiding citizens to protect themselves, and allows Americans to be stripped of their 2nd Amendment Rights by someone nefariously exercising a vendetta,” said Jerry Henry, Executive Director of GA2A.

“Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are praising this bipartisan compromise but we all know that there’s nothing in this legislation that will actually make our communities safer and prevent the next tragedy from occurring.

“GA2A remains committed to stopping this legislation from becoming law. If unsuccessful, we will fight to overturn it in court.”
