Today, GA2A, formerly GeorgiaCarry.org, released the following statement on the passing of David Ralston, Georgia’s 73rd Speaker of the House:
“Today, we join with Georgians across our great state in mourning the loss of Speaker David Ralston,” said Jerry Henry, Executive Director of GA2A.
“Speaker Ralston was a committed public servant with a track record of accomplishments at the State Capitol and in his community. Our organization was proud to work with the Speaker and his staff on numerous occasions to advance legislation that protected – or restored – 2nd Amendment Rights. Together, we worked to build a safer, stronger Georgia.
“Our prayers are with the Speaker’s family and loved ones during these dark days. Georgia has certainly lost a political giant but his legacy of service will live on for years to come.”
